"I came to The Woolshed / Te Miro specifically to mountain bike... The biking is fantastic with a little bit of something... for everyone, it reminded me of Rotorua on a smaller scale... I guess we did close to 20km of super fun trails but the real surprise was yet to come... ... ..The jewel in the crown could possibly be the accommodation! What a set up. Comfy beds and couches, great kitchen and dining, magic shower, BBQ, big decks...etc etc. Dan and Anna you have nailed it with this unique slice of paradise... I can't recommend The Woolshed / Te Miro highly enough. Thanks for an epic weekend!" Justin , Whangamata.

"The Woolshed is so authentic. We loved our stay and Anna and Dan were very friendly and had lots of local information, which was great. A very interesting area and even though we weren't the mountain biking type we found plenty to do at the Woolshed with all the facilities available. We didnt lack for anything in the kitchen area with lots of nice little touches and a great barbecue on the deck. The walk to the outside toilet in the middle of the night caused a few laughs". Our arrival was full of warm welcome and awe,
What was this wonderful mirage of all things 'woolshed' we saw.
It was not too shabby in fact I would judge it first class,
The moment we entered we felt our holiday began at last.
Showering under the stars behind the sheep dip door,
Through the window came the horse..... what sights we saw.
Out of the smoko room came the culinary delights,
Eating our fare on the deck, sipping wine under starry nights.
Pizza's concocted, the fire stoked, drinks and yarns sharred as we fed,
What magical times were had in Dan and Anna's Woolshed.

13-14 December 2014 - Rea Family
Our three teenage boys really enjoyed the Woolshed. Each corner revealed another pleasant surprise. The outdoors blend with the indoor comforts. A Barbaque on the first night with the fire afterwards was primal enjoyment. We ran around the lake via 'Easy Up', 'Gobblers' and the new "Big Willy' trail. A great circuit, followed by the refreshing open air shower. Egg sambos and coffee for breakfast was exquisite. :)

What a ridiculously awesome place! Loved the rustic charm of the place and all its quirky decor. Dan and Anna were super friendly and the whole experience was awesome. Wicked facilities for the horse riding! The eggs, marshmellows and strawberries were a real treat too. :) Will be recommending to lots of friends, even those who dont have an interest in horse riding or mountain biking. Would come again, Charlotte, Juliet and Gwyneth! (And the horses Hector, Rupert and Rusty)
